Carney All Seasons plumbing well water services include: Submersible Well Pumps, Jet Well Pumps, Well Tanks.

Submersible Well Pumps

Submersible well pumps are installed down the well casing at the source of the water. These well pumps use a very effective method of pushing water up the well to a connector called a pitless adapter, which in turn feeds a horizontal water line in the yard to the well storage tank within your home. They are most frequently used to service wells that are several hundred feet deep.

Submersible pumps are known for their reliability and often perform their role for 20–25 years without servicing. However, if you should need service, Carney All Seasons will get the job done quickly and with very little hassle. We service all major brands and our service vehicles are stocked with parts to repair or replace any submersible well pump that we encounter and for the odd part that we may not keep on the vehicles, we have a fully stocked and staffed warehouse with plumbing parts to get exactly what we need. For well water system service, repair or installation call now to assess your needs and schedule an appointment.

Jet Well Pumps

Jet well pumps are mounted above the well, either within your home or in a well house. These well pumps use a very efficient method of drawing the water up from the well through suction. Because suction is involved, atmospheric pressure is what’s really doing the work. Think of the system as a long straw. As you suck on the straw, you create a vacuum in the straw above the water. Once the vacuum is there, the weight of the air, or atmospheric pressure, pushes the water up the straw. A jet pump uses this same theory, powered by an electric motor that drives an impeller, or centrifugal pump that does all the work.

The most common pump for a shallow well situation is a jet pump only because the distance that the water needs to be lifted is relatively modest. Jet pumps are a very dependable means of delivering water to your home. However, if you should need service, Carney All Seasons will get the job done quickly and with very little hassle. We service all major brands and our service vehicles are stocked with parts to repair or replace any well jet pump that we encounter and for the odd part that we may not keep on the vehicles, we have a fully stocked and staffed warehouse with plumbing parts to get exactly what we need. Well Tanks

Well pumps are not designed to run continuously, and they don’t operate each time you use a faucet or flush a toilet. That is where your well storage tank comes into play. In order to allow consistent water pressure at the plumbing fixtures within your home and to relieve the unnecessary stress of the well pump turning on and off, the water is first moved to a well holding tank. Inside a well storage tank is an air bladder that becomes compressed as the water is pumped into it. The pressure in the tank is what moves the water through the household plumbing system. When the pressure reaches a preset level, which can be anywhere from 40 to 60 psi, a switch stops the pump. As water is used in the home, pressure within the tank begins to drop until the pressure switch turns the pump on and the cycle is repeated. Well storage tanks are very reliable and generally last 20–25 years with very little maintenance. However, if you should need service, Carney All Seasons will get the job done quickly and with very little hassle. We service all major brands and our service vehicles are stocked with parts to repair or replace any well storage tank that we encounter and for the odd part that we may not keep on the vehicles, we have a fully stocked and staffed warehouse with plumbing parts to get exactly what we need. Water Pressure

If you can’t wash your dishes at the same time that you water your lawn because the water pressure is too weak, you’ll need to investigate your home’s water supply system.  Water pressure may be low for a couple of reasons.  If all of your neighbors have low water pressure, there may not be much you can do except to contact your water supplier and complain about the problem.  If your home is the only one with low pressure or if only parts of your house have low pressure then there is probably a constriction in your pipes or valves.  The most common problem is older pipes that have become clogged with lime deposits.  Over time it may become necessary to treat your overall water quality and/or replace this piping before it becomes a bigger problem and begins to leak.  However, sometimes it is as simple as removing your faucet aerators and shower heads to remove debris, scaling and lime deposits.

Let’s be honest, most of us would define a water pressure problem’ as low water pressure in your home.  Did you know that high water pressure can have a devastating effect on your plumbing system over an extended period of time?  It’s true!  High water pressure can put unnecessary stress on your water piping, plumbing fixtures and most importantly your hot water heater.  Let a Carney All Seasons professionally trained technician assess your high water pressure problem.  It may be necessary to install Pressure Reducing Valve which allows you to control household water pressure as it enters into your home.  As with any existing or newly installed hot water heater we recommend a thermal expansion tank be installed as well.  Thermal expansion occurs as domestic water is heated.  Left unchecked, the resulting pressure increase can cause relief valve discharge and other potentially unsafe conditions.  Thermal expansion tanks have been proven to extend the overall life of hot water heaters as they relieve this unnecessary pressure.

At Carney All Seasons we know how to rectify water pressure problems quickly and reliably.  Our technicians are highly trained and carry the necessary equipment to diagnose your problem quickly and make the necessary repairs to get you back on track.  We offer clean, prompt and professional quality water pressure service, repair and installation at an affordable cost.  For water pressure problems, service or repair call now to assess your needs and schedule an appointment.
